1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the Urban Hilt website (urbanhilt.com) and purchasing products from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or services.

These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Customer," "you") and Urban Hilt Ltd ("Urban Hilt," "we," "our," "us"), a company registered in Nigeria with its principal place of business at 134/136 Broad Street, Lagos Island, Lagos.

2. Products & Descriptions

We make every effort to display our products as accurately as possible, including colours, sizes, and descriptions. However, we cannot guarantee that your device's display will accurately reflect the actual colour or appearance of products.

All products are subject to availability. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time.
Product images are for illustration purposes. Minor variations in colour, texture, or stitching may occur.
We guarantee the authenticity and quality of all items sold on our platform.

3. Pricing & Payment

All prices on our website are listed in Nigerian Naira (₦) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

We reserve the right to change prices at any time without prior notice. However, price changes will not affect orders that have already been confirmed.
Accepted payment methods include Bank Transfer and Pay on Delivery (Lagos only).
For bank transfer orders, payment must be completed within 24 hours of placing the order. Orders not paid within this period may be cancelled.
In the event of a pricing error, we will notify you and give you the option to proceed at the correct price or cancel your order for a full refund.

4. Orders & Confirmation

Placing an order on our website constitutes an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order for any reason, including product availability, pricing errors, or suspected fraudulent activity.

You will receive an order confirmation via email and/or WhatsApp once your order has been placed.
An order is only binding once we send a shipping confirmation or dispatch notification.
You may cancel or modify your order before it has been dispatched by contacting us via WhatsApp or email.

5. Shipping & Delivery

We deliver to all states within Nigeria. Delivery timelines are estimates and are not guaranteed.

Lagos: 1–2 business days.
Other States: 3–5 business days.
Free shipping on orders over ₦50,000.
Risk of loss and title for items pass to you upon delivery to the shipping carrier.
You are responsible for providing an accurate delivery address. We are not liable for delays or non-delivery caused by incorrect address information.

6. Returns & Exchanges

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are not, we offer returns and exchanges within 7 days of delivery, subject to the following conditions:

Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in their original condition with all tags attached.
Items purchased during sales or promotions may not be eligible for return unless defective.
Underwear, swimwear, and personalised items cannot be returned for hygiene reasons.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is defective or incorrect.
Refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days after we receive and inspect the returned item.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Nigerian law:

Urban Hilt shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our website or purchase of our products.
Our total liability for any claim arising from a transaction shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant product(s).
We are not responsible for delays or failures in performance resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, strikes, government actions, or logistical disruptions.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Urban Hilt website—including text, images, graphics, logos, and software—is the property of Urban Hilt Ltd and is protected by Nigerian and international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our prior written consent.

9. Account Responsibilities

If you create an account with us, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.

10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services shall be resolved through amicable negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached, the dispute shall be submitted to the jurisdiction of the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria.

11. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. Your continued use of our website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
